Lisa is a founding partner who specializes in both personal injury and workers' compensation. She has represented injured clients and their families and has secured settlements as large as $2,000,000 (two million dollars). At her former firm she defended hundreds of lawsuits in federal and state courts throughout the state, as well as before the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation. She has tried scores of those cases. She has also resolved scores of cases through mediation and arbitration. Ms. Edwards was raised in Soperton, Georgia. She moved to Macon in 1983 and earned her B.A. in English and Journalism, Magna Cum Laude, from Wesleyan College in 1987. She served as the editor of the Wesleyan Creative Arts Magazine her senior year there. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University in Macon in 1991. She was selected as a member of the Moot Court Board and served as editor of the legal newspaper there. She began practicing law at Martin Snow, LLP (f.k.a. Martin, Snow, Grant, & Napier) in Macon in 1991. Ms. Edwards is also certified as a mediator.
David is a founding partner who represents victims and their families. He worked for insurance companies for over 10 years. He has also defended hundreds of cases in the various federal and state courts of Georgia, trying scores of them. He has resolved dozens of them through mediation and arbitration. He was born and raised in Macon. He enlisted and honorably served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He earned his B.A. in History from the University of Georgia. He earned his Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University while in the Marine Corps. He earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University in 1999 and practiced at Martin Snow for over 10 years. Both he and Ms. Edwards also have experience in handling business litigation cases.
