H. David Bullard


David is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, state and federal courts in Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Macon Trial Lawyers Association, of which he was president in 2014. He is proud to be a member of the Central Georgia community and supports our local restaurants, stores, and other locally-owned businesses, unlike many lawyers who advertise here but live in other cities and even other states.


David contributes financially to the Methodist Home for Children, Goodwill, and Middle Georgia Justice, which assists needy families with legal advice and representation. In law school David was a member and president of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, which donated annually to the Macon Rescue Mission


 David enlisted and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, from 1992 to 1996. David completed boot camp of almost three months at Parris Island, S.C. Unlike the other branches of military service, every Marine is a rifleman. Great emphasis is placed on marksmanship. In boot camp David scored 237 out of a possible 250 points on the qualifying rifle range, which was the high score in his platoon of 63 recruits. David was recognized as graduating with the honor of Platoon High Shooter. David qualified for the Rifle Expert and Pistol Expert badges. He served almost three years at Camp Lejeune, N.C. He volunteered for and served his fourth year in Japan, at Marine Air Base, Iwakuni, on the main island of Honshu. David earned the National Defense Medal for joining the military in a time of war, the Overseas Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Naval Achievement Medal. The NAM was for outstanding performance as a law clerk for the Staff Judge Advocate, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N.C., law clerk for the Regional Defense Counsel for the Eastern Division of the Marine Corps, and law clerk for the Chief Defense Counsel of the U.S.M.C. David earned an honorable discharge in 1996. David took his law degree from Mercer University in Macon. He attended the University of Georgia and earned a bachelor’s degree in history, and earned a Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.
